JOB SUMMARY:
Human Resources Specialist positions within the Department of the Navy provide a full range of innovative human resources management advisory and technical support services to Department managers and employees in the areas of classification, staffing, employee benefits, equal employment opportunity, employee relations, labor relations, human resources development, and information systems management. Human Resources Specialists develop technically sound and creative solutions to human resources problems considering organizational objectives and goals, as well as legal and regulatory limitations. To achieve these goals, they foster productive and positive working relationships via responsiveness, collaboration, and communication with internal and external clients.
